HYDRO PROKAV KM 2000 SERIES PUMPS

Hydro Prokav KM 2000 Series pumps are built with rugged gear-type universal joint which is the effective solution to handle heavy radical thrust loads. This design ensures best performance with very minimal maintenance, low wear & Tear rotating parts and longer life of pump.

The heavy duty transmission train

A. Gear Type universal joints with perfect sealing of rubber sheath prevents contamination of joints and foreign particle entry to joints and foreign particle entry to joints during pumping of fluids.B. The grease lubricated gear joints can very well operate up to 90 Deg C, far higher than other oil lubricanted joints.

C. Thrust Plates are clamped by pins ensuring maximum life for gea joints and smooth functioning.

D. The lenghty Coupling rod design maintains shaft angularity of less than 1.5 Deg for reduction stress on gear joints and on Bearings.

Low maintainance casing & bearing housing assembly

A. Hydro Prokav KM 2000 series pups are built with grease packed tapered roller bearing for withstanding better load conditions of the rotating parts.B. Sturdy casting improve pump performance by reducing vibration load to the shaft and bearings

C. The gear joint on shaft side reduces the radial thrust on drive shaft and bearings and requires minimal pump disassembly.

Drive Shaft assembly

A. Hallow single shaft design reduces run-out for extended packed gland or mechanical seal life.B.Stuffing box assembly can accommodate single/double mechanical seal or different types of packing.

Additional Features

A.Suction chamber allows full 360 Deg rotation for easier piping installation.B. Suction and discharge flanges as per ANSI,BS,ASA,DIN OR JIS for easy installation

C. Drain plug provided at the casing ensures the total drain of liquid form casing before inspecton or during maintenance

D. All pumps are provided with inspection ports on either side for efficient cleaning.

E. Gland area is drilled and tapped for easy disposal of stuffing box leakages.

The universal joints are specialy designed single or double knuckle joints. The Rubber Stator is made out of Natural or Synthetic rubbers like Nitrile, EPDM, Hyplon, Silicon, Neoprene, Viton, Butyle or Hi –Nitrile based on application.

Hopper type suction inlet allows gravity flow of plastic viscous media on Augur cum coupling rod pushing viscous substances into pumping cavity. Standard pumps employ mild steel hopper pump casing with alloy steel rotating parts. For corrosive or hygienic duty, all contact parts will be in SS material. Shaft sealing by soft gland packing / mechanical seal. Delivery connection in BS, ISO, ASA, ANSI flanged ends and for hygienic applications, IDF /SMS/ Tri clover or equivalent are used. Bridge Breaker Paddle Assembly is available as option for products forming bridge while handling high consistency media and referred as KYWM series of Pumps.
